Description

A delicious teriyaki stir-fry featuring firm tofu, perfect for a quick meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 block firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • to taste sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Press and cube the tofu.
  2. In a bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides.
  5. Pour sauce over tofu and stir to coat.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to press the tofu well to remove excess moisture for better browning.
  • This dish can be served with rice or noodles.
