Description

Delicious homemade garlic butter dinner rolls that are soft and fluffy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 egg (large)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and let activate until foamy.
  2. Add butter, egg, and salt, then gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead dough until smooth and elastic, about 8–10 minutes.
  4. Cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 60–90 minutes.
  5. Divide dough into equal portions and shape into rolls.
  6. Let rolls rise again until puffy, about 30–40 minutes.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes until golden.
  8. Brush hot rolls with garlic butter and parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, ensure the milk is warm but not hot to activate the yeast.
  • Allow the rolls to cool slightly before brushing with garlic butter for the best flavor.
