Description
Delicious and moist banana bread made with ripe bananas and chocolate chips.
Ingredients

- 4 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup Ghirardelli 60% Bittersweet Chocolate Baking Chips
- 1/2 cup Walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×5 loaf pan with non-stick spray, set aside.
- Mash the bananas in a bowl.
- Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon. (Add more chocolate chips and walnuts to batter, if you want more than what is going on top.)
- Pour batter into loaf pan and then add chocolate chips and nuts on top.
- Bake 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck into the bread comes out clean.
- Slice and serve.
Notes
- This banana bread can be stored in an airtight container for a few days.
- For added flavor, you can include cinnamon or vanilla extract in the batter.
