Description

A delicious garlic beef bread topped with melted mozzarella cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic bread loaf
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
  2. Stir in minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant. Pour in tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce; mix well.
  3. Simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Slice the garlic bread loaf in half lengthwise. Spread softened butter on each side and sprinkle with minced garlic.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture onto the bread and top with shredded cheese. Broil on high for 3-5 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
