Description

A delicious creamy peanut sauce perfect for dipping or drizzling on your favorite dishes.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons sriracha or chili garlic sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup warm water

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients in advance by mincing garlic, grating ginger, and measuring out sauces and peanut butter.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, lime juice, honey or maple syrup, and sesame oil. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add in the garlic, ginger, and desired amount of sriracha or chili garlic sauce. Mix well.
  4. Gradually add warm water, whisking constantly, until desired consistency is achieved.
  5. Taste and adjust with more lime, sweetener, or spice as needed.
  6. Use immediately or store in the fridge for up to one week in an airtight container.

Notes

  • This sauce can be used as a dip, dressing, or drizzle over stir-fried vegetables and noodles.
  • For a spicier sauce, add more sriracha or chili garlic sauce.
