Description

A delicious cheesecake perfect for holiday festivities.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 packs (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Red and green sprinkles
  • Chocolate stars or festive decorations
  • Red and green icing or gel for decoration

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and mix in the eggs, one at a time. Blend in the sour cream and flour until the mixture is creamy.
  3. Assemble and Bake: Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. Allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature for an hour, then refrigerate for 4-6 hours or overnight.
  4. Prepare the Topping: Beat the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the chilled cheesecake.
  5. Decorate: Drizzle red and green icing or gel over the top. Add sprinkles and chocolate stars to create a festive pattern.

Notes

  • For a smooth cheesecake, ensure all ingredients are at room temperature.
  • Use a water bath while baking to maintain moisture and prevent cracking.
  • Allow the cheesecake to cool gradually to avoid sudden temperature changes.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge and consume within 3-4 days for best results.
