Description
A delicious cheesecake perfect for holiday festivities.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 packs (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- Red and green sprinkles
- Chocolate stars or festive decorations
- Red and green icing or gel for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
- Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and mix in the eggs, one at a time. Blend in the sour cream and flour until the mixture is creamy.
- Assemble and Bake: Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. Allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature for an hour, then refrigerate for 4-6 hours or overnight.
- Prepare the Topping: Beat the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the chilled cheesecake.
- Decorate: Drizzle red and green icing or gel over the top. Add sprinkles and chocolate stars to create a festive pattern.
