Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and light.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks gently.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
