Delicious and easy cottage cheese bagels perfect for any time of the day!
Ingredients

- 1 cup cottage cheese (low fat or full fat)
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
- Cooking spray or oil, for baking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly oil or spray the parchment.
- In a mixing bowl, blend the cottage cheese until mostly smooth. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix until it forms a shaggy dough.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for 2-3 minutes until the dough comes together and is soft.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each into a log and shape into a bagel, pinching the ends to seal.
- Beat the egg and brush over the bagels. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- These bagels can be topped with your favorite seeds or left plain.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
