A delicious beverage combining rich chocolate and coffee flavors with the natural sweetness of Medjool dates.
Ingredients

- 3 Medjool dates (pitted)
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0 cups hot water
- 0 cups coffee or 1–2 shots espresso
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 0 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch cinnamon or sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Soak dates in hot water for 3–5 minutes to soften.
- Blend softened dates, cocoa powder, vanilla, and hot water until smooth.
- Heat milk until hot, then froth.
- Brew coffee or prepare espresso.
- Pour chocolate date mixture into mug, add coffee, and stir.
- Top with frothed milk and dust with cocoa or cinnamon.

- This recipe can be adjusted with different types of milk or dairy alternatives.
- If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, add more espresso shots.
